Plex.Earth Tools for AutoCAD 2007–2009 is an add-on that connects AutoCAD with Google Earth to bring real-world context into your drawings. You can also export CAD entities back to Google Earth for easy visualization and stakeholder reviews.

Key capabilities:

  • Import high-resolution Google Earth imagery and build seamless mosaics over large areas
  • Capture terrain elevation data to create surfaces and generate contours
  • Georeference drawings with support for common coordinate systems
  • Export points, lines, and polygons to Google Earth as KML/KMZ
  • Scale, align, and measure with real-world units for quick site reconnaissance and preliminary design

Requirements: AutoCAD 2007, 2008, or 2009 and an internet connection for imagery and terrain retrieval.
